William (Bill) R. Wagner was the chief executive officer at Boston-based LogMeIn from
2015 through 2022, after joining the company as chief operating officer in 2013. During
his tenure, LogMeIn grew from a small-cap public company with $140 million in revenue
to an industry leader with 4,000 employees, 2 million customers and more than $1
billion in revenue. LogMeIn was acquired by Francisco Partners and Evergreen Coast
Capital for $4.2 billion in 2020.
A software and technology industry veteran, Mr. Wagner was previously chief operating
officer at Vocus, a publicly-traded SaaS company, where he led the sales, marketing,
and services organizations. Prior to that, he held several executive leadership roles,
including chief marketing officer at Fiberlink, a leading mobile device management
company (acquired by IBM). He began his career at AT&T.
Mr. Wagner serves on the board of directors of Akamai (NASDAQ: AKAM) and
ChurnZero, a privately-held SaaS company. He is also on the board of advisors for
BUILD Boston, an organization dedicated to the educational and professional success
of youth from under-resourced communities. He holds a B.A. in history from Lafayette
College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business.
