Mark Vranesh, Chairman of the Board

Mark Vranesh has served as a member of our board of directors since December 2019 and as an advisor from November 2017 to December 2019. Mr. Vranesh previously served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for TuneIn, Inc. from January 2020 to July 2020, as the Chief Financial Officer of App Annie Inc. from August 2015 to April 2017, and prior to that served as Chief Financial Officer of Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) from May 2008 to August 2010, Chief Accounting Officer from August 2010 to April 2014, and as Chief Financial Officer from November 2012 to April 2014. Mr. Vranesh served as a member of the board of directors of BrightRoll, Inc. (acquired by Yahoo! Inc. in 2015) from May 2014 through January 2015 and of Catch Sitka Unlimited Co. since May 2020. Mr. Vranesh also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Counsel and as an entrepreneur in residence for the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo since September 2015. Mr. Vranesh also serves as an advisor to a number of private companies, including GmbH and ReviverMx, Inc. Mr. Vranesh received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 1990.

Dylan Pearce

Dylan Pearce has served as a member of our board of directors since 2018. Mr. Pearce currently serves as a Partner at Greycroft Partners, which he joined in 2014. Mr. Pearce received a Master’s in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California.

Trynka Shineman

Trynka Shineman Blake has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2020. Ms. Blake currently serves as a member of the board of directors of TripAdvisor, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIP), a position she has held since March 2019. In addition, Ms. Blake has served on the board of directors of Ally Financial (NYSE: ALLY) since August 2018. Ms. Blake has also been a member of the board of trustees of the Mass Technology Leadership Council since June 2018. Previously, Ms. Blake was the CEO of Vistaprint, a global e-commerce company, from February 2017 to February 2019, and served as the President of Vistaprint from July 2014 to January 2017. Ms. Blake received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University, and her MBA from Columbia Business School.

Anna Baird

Anna Baird has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2023. Ms. Baird has more than 30 years of experience working with Silicon Valley companies to scale teams and enable growth. She was a partner at KPMG for over 17 years, where she advised in the boardroom at Google, Intuit, Plantronics and others, before becoming an SVP at McAfee supporting leadership on global controls, enterprise risk management, and its acquisition by Intel. Ms. Baird then held several C-level roles at private technology startups that experienced hypergrowth, and was most recently the CRO at Outreach. Ms. Baird also currently serves on the board of SeatGeek. Ms. Baird has a BS, CSU Fresno in business with an emphasis in accounting and has taken executive courses at Harvard and Wharton.

Steven Aldrich

Mr. Aldrich has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2023. Mr. Aldrich has nearly 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He spent 12 years with Intuit in a variety of leadership roles and held CEO positions at Posit Science and Outright. He also spent seven years at GoDaddy, the last three as the Chief Product Officer, helping grow the company from 10 million to 18 million total customers, and from $1 billion annual revenue to over $3 billion in revenue. Mr. Aldrich is currently a Board Partner at First Round Capital and Xero Limited (XRO.AX). Steven has an M.B.A. from Stanford where he was recognized as an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a B.A. in physics from the University of North Carolina.

Oleg Shchegolev, Co-founder and CEO

Together with Dmitrii Melnikov, Oleg co-founded SEMrush in 2008 and the two have since grown the company into an industry-leading SaaS digital marketing toolkit. Oleg began his career as an IT engineer starting with the development of SEOquake which was released in 2006. He founded SEMrush with Dmitry Melnikov and served as its CEO since its inception in 2008. Under Oleg’s guidance, SEMrush has become a multi-award winning and truly global company. In 2018, Oleg raised $40 million in funding led by Greycroft, Siguler Guff, and e.ventures.

Dmitry Melnikov, Co-founder

Dmitry Melnikov is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of SEMrush. Since establishing the company in 2008 alongside CEO Oleg Shchegolev, Dmitry has overseen the operational development of the company. Under Dmitry's direction, SEMrush opened six offices in two continents and was able to help transform SEMrush from a startup into a global SaaS digital marketing business. His polished project management skills and sound ability to data mine has enabled him to successfully build one of the world’s best competitive intelligence tools across the globe.

William (Bill) R. Wagner

William (Bill) R. Wagner was the chief executive officer at Boston-based LogMeIn from 2015 through 2022, after joining the company as chief operating officer in 2013. During his tenure, LogMeIn grew from a small-cap public company with $140 million in revenue to an industry leader with 4,000 employees, 2 million customers and more than $1 billion in revenue. LogMeIn was acquired by Francisco Partners and Evergreen Coast Capital for $4.2 billion in 2020. A software and technology industry veteran, Mr. Wagner was previously chief operating officer at Vocus, a publicly-traded SaaS company, where he led the sales, marketing, and services organizations. Prior to that, he held several executive leadership roles, including chief marketing officer at Fiberlink, a leading mobile device management company (acquired by IBM). He began his career at AT&T. Mr. Wagner serves on the board of directors of Akamai (NASDAQ: AKAM) and ChurnZero, a privately-held SaaS company. He is also on the board of advisors for BUILD Boston, an organization dedicated to the educational and professional success of youth from under-resourced communities. He holds a B.A. in history from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business.
