William (Bill) R. Wagner is a seasoned technology executive and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Semrush, a role he assumed in March 2025. He has been a member of Semrush’s Board of Directors since September 2022.
Previously, Bill served as CEO of GoTo Group, formerly known as LogMeIn (2015–2022), where he led the company’s growth from $140 million to over $1 billion in revenue, culminating in its ~$4.2 billion acquisition in 2020. His leadership experience also includes key roles at Vocus (formerly NASDAQ: VOCS), Fiberlink (acquired by IBM), and AT&T. He currently serves on the boards of Avery Dennison Corp. (NYSE: AVY) and BlackLine, Inc. (NASDAQ: BL). Bill holds a B.A. from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.

Oleg founded Semrush in 2008 with Dmitry Melnikov, and has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since March 2025, and as a member of our board of directors since October 2012.  Prior to becoming Semrush's CTO, Oleg was our Chief Executive Officer since October 2012.  Oleg began his career as an IT engineer starting with the development of SEOquake, which was released in 2006.

Eugene has served as our Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer since March 2016. Before joining Semrush he was Investment Director of Target Global from March 2016 to March 2017 and Partner from November 2014 to March 2016. Prior to that, he served as the Co-Founder and Head of Marketing at AggroStudios from September 2013 to November 2014. Eugene also served as a Partner of Foresight Ventures and as a Senior Systems Analyst at Cloudmach Inc.

Brian serves as Semrush's Chief Financial Officer since 2023. Brian has more than 20 years of finance leadership experience at market-leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Nuance Communications, and Progress Software. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business and Mathematics from Gordon College, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

Tatiana Starikova has served as our Chief Human Resources Officer since July 2021. Tatiana previously served as Senior Vice President of Global HR at Semrush from November 2017. Prior to that, Tatiana worked as a Global HR Director in different international Tech and Digital Companies like RealWeb and AdHands from 2014-2017.

Dave joined Semrush as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in October 2022. Prior to Semrush, Dave held the position of General Counsel at Everquote (Nasdaq: EVER) since 2014 and Deputy General Counsel at Kayak from 2011 to 2014. Dave earned his JD from Boston College in 2006 and holds a BBA, Accounting, and Information System from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Vitalii has served as the Chief Product Officer of Semrush since March 2025. In this role, Vitalii drives overall vision and strategy for the entire Semrush product suite. Vitalii previously served as our Chief Operating Officer from June 2022 through March 2025, as our Chief Product Officer from May 2015 through June 2022, as one of our Product Owners from July 2013 to May 2015, and as a Developer from September 2008 to June 2013. Before joining SEMrush, Vitalii worked with Oleg as a developer of SEOQuake.

Andrew serves as Semrush’s Chief Marketing Officer since 2021 and leads a team of over 150 global marketing and communications professionals. Andrew has a track record in building and optimizing global marketing functions from the ground up. He has lived and worked in some 20+ countries, with a primary focus on digital marketing and digital transformation. Prior to Semrush, he held CMO roles and led global marketing functions at UnitedLex, SoftServe, Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO), GfK, and more.

Tommie has been Semrush’s Chief Sales Officer since February 2024, after serving as Vice President of International Sales from November 2022. Before Semrush, he held positions at leading technology companies like Coupang, Salesforce, Oracle, and LinkedIn. He holds a Master’s in eCommerce and a Bachelor’s in Management of Information Systems (MIS).

Alex serves as Semrush’s Chief Information Officer as of April 2022. Prior to Semrush, Alex served as the CIO of Avid Technology (Nasdaq: AVID) from March 2018 to April 2022. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (Nasdaq: HMH). Alex was also the Head of Information Technology for Rapid7 (Nasdaq: RPD). Alex also served as a Founder and CEO of SaaSLicense, successfully acquired by Apptio, Inc. (Vista Equity Partners) in 2020.

Tara Haas is a seasoned technology and operations executive and the Chief of Staff at Semrush Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SEMR). She joined the company in 2025, bringing over two decades of experience driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives across the tech sector.

Prior to Semrush, Tara held senior leadership roles at Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU), LogMeIn (formerly NASDAQ: LOGM), and Dashlane, leading innovation programs, business optimization efforts, and executive team operations. She also co-founded and successfully ran an estate sale franchise business. Tara holds a B.S. in Organizational Studies from Northwestern University.

Abby Miller joined Semrush in September 2025 as Chief Customer Officer. She brings nearly 20 years of experience partnering with enterprise, commercial, and high-growth small and mid-size businesses to help them achieve their goals. Prior to Semrush, Abby was Senior Vice President of Client Experience at LifeSpeak and LastPass with previous experience at LogMeIn, Staples, and Accenture. Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University.
